Masō Gakuen HxH (魔装学園H(ハイブリッド)×H(ハート) Masō Gakuen Haiburiddo Hāto, lit. "Masou Academy Hybrid Heart"), translates to Hybrid x Heart Magias Academy Ataraxia is a light novel written by Masamune Kuji (久慈マサムネ) and illustrated by Hisasi, published by Kadokawa Shoten under their Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko (Kadokawa Shoten) label (Media Factory) label. With the first volume was released in Japan on January 31, 2014, the series was complete up to fourteen volumes as of September 1, 2016, under their Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint.

Synopsis[]

Hida Kizuna visited the strategic defense academy Ataraxia based from the call of his big sister where he encountered the girl who operated the magic armor Zeros, Chidorigafuchi Aine. Aine suddenly took off her clothes in front of his eyes but……”Don’t look you pervert-” “No, that’s you right!?” Kizuna couldn’t help but got confused by the deplorably wicked tongued Aine. But, right there a contact from his sister about an important mission came. The content of the contact was――to rub Aine’s breast!? The truth was that Kizuna possessed the power to power up a girl by doing a perverted act, with that power a future of battle with alternate world began!!

In September 2015, an anime adaptation of Hybrid x Heart Magias Academy Ataraxia was announced. In January 2016, Kuji announced via Twitter that the adaptation would be a TV series, which is scheduled to premiere in July 2016. The main cast and staff were officially announced in April 2016. The series is directed by Hiroyuki Furukawa, written by Yasunori Yamada, and produced by Production IMS, with character designs by Kana Miyai. Masakatsu Ohmuro of Dax Production serves as the sound director. The music of the series is produced by Victor Entertainment's Flying Dog label. Two theme music were used: an opening theme and an ending theme. The opening theme is "Miele Paradiso" (lit. "Honey Paradise"), performed by Iori Nomizu, who also performs the ending theme, "Chi"

The series premiered on 5 July 2016, and is broadcast on AT-X, Tokyo MX, TV Saitama, Chiba TV, tvk, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, and BS11. Crunchyroll and AnimeState is simulcasted the series on their website.
