Gravel (グラベル) is a (former) commander of the sixth army of conquest of the district of Lemuria of the Vatlantis Empire and is recognized as a hero for her bravery in battle. She is called Hero of the Frontier. Sometime after the end of the war, she became the president of Izgard. She also take care of her love Hida Kizuna's Kizuna (Gravel Daughter).

Appearance

Gravel is an extremely beautiful woman with a distinctive tanned skin, which is extremely rare in the Vatlantis empire, and short, blonde hair. Like most women on Atlantis, she possesses a mature, voluptuous figure, accented by a large bust that later got bigger due to her pregnancy. She is toned and muscular, yet still beautiful and has no unnecessary fat, having a firm and tight, toned body and trained abdomen. Even after giving birth to her child, she quickly regains her firm and tough physique.

When in battle, she wears a white uniform consisting of a formal cap, a short skirt, and long boots that reveal most of her long legs. Gravel wears fingerless gloves that extends to her forearms, and a sleeveless blazer that has its hem cut off at the center of her bust, exposing the bottom half of her bust and midriff.

When she equips Zoros, a strip of cloth crosses her bust in the middle, leaving the upper and lower part of her bust exposed. A strip crosses her hips in an x-shape, and a small cloth covers her crotch. She wears a small cape that reaches up to the middle of her back. Her butt is exposed, having only a small cloth in the middle of her buttocks with nothing else to cover them. Outside of battle or while relaxing, she wears a white one-piece dress which exposes most of her cleavage and back.

While she was a student of Ataraxia, she wore the regular school uniform for females.

Personality

Having been a soldier her entire life, Gravel is ruthless in battle but at the end of the day, she follows orders and is an honorable warrior with a strong moral code as she also hates unnecessary killings of humans especially the innocent. She also considers that a soldier must be serious and don't has to act shamefully, they have to fight for the people of the empire. Despite being a fearless warrior, she is very embarrassed to show her naked body and her excitement. Outside the battlefield, Gravel is a calm, collected and caring woman who cares a lot about the state of the empire, mostly her country but also the entire Atlantis.

Gravel respects her allies and enemies. She doesn't hold grudges against those she fought in the past. Gravel is willing to work with her old enemies if they have a common goal. Similarly, she doesn't mind if they have a grudge against her, accepting it as a natural thing. The two people that Gravel loves the most were once her enemies that she fought with the first time she met them.

Gravel casual and nerves side when she's not on the battlefield

Gravel has a casual side to her outside the battlefield. She enjoys socializing and having fun with her friends. After she fell for Kizuna, she shows a softer side to her when it comes to him, feeling shy around him. She even worries her body is lacking in sex appeal because it is too muscular.

After finding out that Kizuna chose Aine as his partner, she was very sad but respected his choice. She also picks the greater good, like when she decided to stay in Atlantis to rebuilt her country and bring to happiness her people rather than stay with Kizuna, despite her feelings for him. Before they were separated, Gravel asked Kizuna to do Ecstasy Hybrid with her as they will not be able to see each other again, giving him her virginity in the process. During that, Gravel revealed how much she loves him. Three months after the loss of the Entrance, Gravel engages in politics as opposed to combat, becoming the President of Izgard. She is polite as she welcomes Grace and Landred to her wedding ceremony and discusses a temporary halt the working of Genesis in order to prevent his collapse again.

History

Background

Gravel is from Izgard, a country annexed by the Vatlantis empire. She defended her country, so it wouldn't fall under the control of the Vatlantis Empire. Her courage, bravery, and strength made her the captain of the Izgard army. Vatlantis had planned a massive attack to finally subjugate the Izgard country. The empire attacks with the third, fourth, and fifth fleet of the subjugation army and with them came a battle maniac, Aldia, who is part of the imperial guard army. Gravel fought Aldia, although she knew that even if she won, Izgard was going to lose the fight. In the last moment of the fierce battle that Aldia and Gravel were having, a messenger arrived with the news that a pact to cease the war have just been signed between the two counties. With this, Gravel was made captain of the sixth subjugation army, and Aldia became part of that army.

Operation Recapturing Tokyo Arc

Following the aftermath of her defeat, Gravel is taken by Ragrus back to the Vatlantis empire. She is later sexually harassed by Zelshione while being restrained with chains. Zelshione previously used her mind manipulation on her when she was at minimum magic power after her fight with Kizuna. Though she hopes to be rescued by Aldia, her hopes are crushed when Zelshione reveals she turned Aldia into her "pet". After undressing her and noticing that Gravel was hairless Zelshione and the Quartum would make fun of her.To break her mind Gravel would be handcuffed with her hands behind her back and taken to the balcony where thousands of people with binoculars and telescopes were gathered. Gravel shed tears at such humiliation. As a final blow, Zelshione would make her climax with squirting.then she would be taken to Zelshione's bed where she would continue to be abused by Zelshione.

About 2 weeks later Gravel would fight to the death with Kizuna in the coliseum. Gravel had her magic power reduced since she was put in a special room and she had a bracelet that restricted the magic power that she could use. Kizuna would convince Gravel to make the Climax Hybrid pair and regain his power so that they could escape together, ashamed Gravel would accept. Gravel went to the Aldia and easily defeated her, putting Aldia on her shoulder, she would escape from the coliseum.

Vatlantis Arc

Gravel and Aldia who had already recovered from Zelshione's mind control rescues Kizuna and Gertrude from Raamza's attack. They would take them to a beach in the capital of Izgard. Kizuna would be surprised to see Gravel in casual clothes and call her cute causing a blush in her. After having breakfast, Gravel would then take them for a walk on the beach, Kizuna noticing that there is no one would tell him that this is the private beach of Gravel.

After everyone swam for a while on the beach, Gravel would ask Kizuna to let Lemuria fight alongside Izgard, what would he tell her “This is not something I can decide myself, I’ll return once to the other side and try to explain there. Even if for example it doesn’t go well……I alone will fight together with you.”

Those words let the string of nervousness inside Gravel slacken. Her soft expression was not the face of a general who was leading the army of a country, but merely a girl’s face. She was fondly locking eyes with Kizuna.

Powers & Abilities

Gravel finds an equal opponent

Master Combatant: Gravel is an immensely-skilled fighter, probably one of the best in the entire Atlantis and overcomes even the Quartum, the elite emperor guardian with only Aldia come to close to her. Her combat abilities were accredited by many strong fighters including Aldia, who is a very skilled combatant on her own. When she first came to Ataraxia, she defeated the American special team Masters and fought later against Amaterasu without a single scratch. During the war in Atlantis against the Vatlantis army, she received considerable recognition from her comrades and won many battles until peace has been declared.

Master Swordswoman: Gravel is a remarkable master swordswoman, capable of rivaling skilled swordsmen such Hayuru and Hyakurath; where she even overpowered the former and stalemate with the latter.

Immense Stamina: Due to constantly training, Gravel has a tremendous amount of stamina, able to keep up herself on her peak for a very long time without slowing down or resting.

Enhanced Speed & Reflexes: Gravel is extremly fast and possess highly developed reflexes. She is able to fight multiple opponents at once.

High Leadership Skills: Gravel is a very skilled leader, as she showed during the battle between Izgard and Vatlantis Empire which she won, despite her opponent's superior army and magic armor wearer. Following the end of the war and returning to Atlantis, Gravel was made president of Izgard, further displaying how much she is respected by her people.

Keen Intelligence: Gravel is a very wise and smart woman, as she shows when cooperation with Ataraxia in benefit to end the war with the Vatlantis empire. During her time on Ataraxia, she was in the same class as Kizuna and her strategies in combat show it as well. One of the greatest demonstrations of her wisdom was after the war against Deus Ex Machine, when she decided to stay in Atlantis in duty to rebuild her country rather than staying with Kizuna, despite the fact that she will never be able to see him again. After the Entrances closed, she was able to become a skilled enough politician to become president of Izgard.

Mental Strength: Gravel has great mental strength, under normal conditions controlling her mind is extremely difficult, therefore Zelshione had to wait for her to be exhausted after her fight with Kizuna to be able to control her. She was under Zelshione's control for 2 weeks, enduring her sexual attacks and being treated as a sex toy and even so, Zelshione was unable to break her mind(on the other hand, Zelshione had made Aldia mindbreak easily).

Gravel fire from her Particle Cannons

• Immense Strength: Zoros grans Gravel vast amount of raw physical strength. She can send peoples to fly with a single blow with enough force to destroy a building in the process. With just one swing her gunsword was able to destroy Hayuru´s blades. After she did the Heard Hybrid with Kizuna she was able to destroy an immense durable Live Sever around Colosseum and with one attack a defeat Aldia.
• Immense Speed: Gravel is incredibly fast, able the move with such speed that her opponent has a problem to hit her and keeping eye on her. She can swing her heavy gunsword and sword guntling with enough speed to catch a speed opponent like Hayuru or Aldia. Gravel has a very quick reaction a reflex as well.
• Immense Durability: Gravel has immense durability, able to withstand a huge amount of damage and still move and fight. She survived been pierced by Aldia spear(although she has fragment that spear in her body unit today). Even after full intervention of Kizuna Hybrid Mode's attack, she was still capable escape while carrying Aldia.

• Gunsword: A huge single-edge sword combined with a particle cannon for both close combat and long-range shooting. It gives Gravel an advantage against opponents who get too close to avoid her bullets.

  

  Zoros Corruption Armament, Sword Gatling.

• Particle Cannons: Gavel uses 4 particle cannon that resemble wing, each with 3 barrels.
• Corruption Armament « Sword Gatling » A larger version of gunsword with six large-caliber barrels, lined up in round shape and a cross shape sword in the middle of the circle. It is capable of rapid firing powerful bullets that can cause huge damage to even a Heart Hybrid Gear.

HxH - Magical Armor « Zoros »

After having her core removed and powered up by Hida Nayuta, Kizuna reinstalled Zoros into Gravel. It gains a great increase in both its power and size. After doing Harem Hybrid, Zoros returns to it's original size as Gravel's own power increased enough to match it.

Trivia

• In the anime, she is also known as Grabel in the official English subtitles.
• The reason why Gravel was controlled by Zelshione was because she was exhausted from her fight with Kizuna. Zelshione admitted that this was the perfect opportunity to control her mind as its magical power was at a minimum.
• Although Zelshione could not break her mind, due to the 2 weeks that she was under Zelshione's power, enduring her sexual attacks, Gravel's body became very sensitive.
• Gravel was a student on Ataraxia, she was a member of all sports clubs and the ace for most of them. She was also in the same class as Kizuna.
• Gravel doesn't have any pubic hair.
• Gravel is not a virgin, she has had sex with some women.
• She had a sexfriend relationship with Aldia,here it is shown that Gravel is bottom, before meeting Kizuna.
• In volume 13, Gravel had her first time with a man,it was with Kizuna as a final request on her part, as they won't be able to see each other again after they part ways. It is confirmed in volume 14 she got pregnant with his child.
  • This makes her the first known woman to get pregnant with Kizunas' child and likely the first to give birth (as she did Ecstasy Hybrid the night before Zelshione did).
• After Kizuna's departure and seeing Aldia's efforts to make her fall in love, she agreed to go out with her and they would get married but she still has feelings for Kizuna.
• Gravel appearance greatly resembles Tier Harribel from the manga and anime series, Bleach. Both have similar skin tone, blond hair, voluptuous body and wear a white jacket that reveals the lower half of their breast.

- Gravel also have similarities with Ranko Honjō from the manga and anime series, My First Girlfriend Is a Gal. Both have short blonde hair, tan shin and they are Bisexual.
